What time of year can you paint the outside of my house?

Our exterior season generally runs from late spring through autumn. Coatings have a minimum application temperature and need surfaces to be genuinely dry, and overnight temperatures matter as much as daytime ones. We would rather move a start date by a few days than apply paint in conditions that will shorten its life.

How long will an exterior paint job last in Upstate New York?

Do you wash the house before painting?

Can you paint vinyl siding?

Will you need access to water and power?
